AN ACTIVE SUMMER DAY CAMP FOR CHILDREN PRE-K to 6TH GRADE

Located on the beautiful grounds of the Suburban Country Club and open to non-member families, Camp Suburban is the brainchild of two camp-loving school teachers who happen to be sisters. Every day at Camp is full of swimming and swim instruction, arts, games, and professional instruction in tennis, golf, and dance. Rain or shine, it's a great day at Camp Suburban.

Safety and Security
 
Our kids' safety is our number one priority! A good summer camp is a safe summer camp.  We have  a team of dedicated volunteers (doctors, lawyers, insurance brokers) to help develop written safety plans to address major issues from COVID-19, accidents, and best hiring practices.

• Golf Instruction with Suburban Golf Pros
• Tennis Coaching with Suburban Tennis Pros
• Professional Dance Instruction

STAFFING

We are proud to offer a low camper-to-staff ratio.  During 2021, we averaged a 1:4 ratio.  Our counselors are classified as either Junior Counselors (Ages 16-18) or Head Counselors (18+).  We also include special area staff including our lifeguard/swim instructors, sports staff, arts teachers, etc.  All of our staff undergo FBI, Maryland, and Child Protective Services background checks before working at Camp.
